Located halfway up the slopes of Longwu Mountain in Hangzhou, the Mountain Residence renovation project seeks to transform the home of a traditional tea farmer. By preserving the old site's atmosphere and material textures, this project aims to create a new living environment that honors the heritage and lifestyle of the original inhabitants.
